AI Transparency Policy

How Keravox handles AI disclosure across every platform and jurisdiction.

Last updated: April 2026

Our commitment

Keravox uses AI to respond to fans and customers on behalf of creators and businesses. We believe fans deserve to know when they're talking to AI — and creators deserve a platform that handles disclosure automatically so they never have to worry about compliance.

Our approach is aligned with how leading platforms like Intercom and Zendesk handle AI transparency: clear disclosure at the right moments, without disrupting the conversation experience.

How disclosure works

1

First message disclosure

The first AI-generated message in every new conversation includes a small footer:

“This reply was assisted by [Creator Name]'s AI”

This is mandatory and cannot be turned off, regardless of plan.

2

Honest when asked

When someone asks “Are you real?”, “Is this AI?”, or anything similar, the AI always identifies itself truthfully. This is enforced automatically — creators cannot override it, even through voice configuration or automation rules.

3

Affiliate link transparency

When the AI shares affiliate links, they're automatically tagged with #ad. This happens automatically — creators can't remove the tag. Only one affiliate link per response to keep things genuine.

Regulatory compliance

Keravox is designed to comply with AI transparency regulations across major jurisdictions:

United States

FTC Guidelines

Compliant with FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). AI-generated content is disclosed to prevent deceptive practices.

California

SB 1001 Bot Disclosure

Compliant with California's Bot Disclosure Act requiring clear, conspicuous disclosure when bots communicate with users for commercial purposes.

European Union

EU AI Act Article 50

Ready for EU AI Act transparency obligations taking effect August 2, 2026. AI systems interacting with people must inform them they're engaging with AI.

What creators are responsible for

We handle the hard part automatically. But creators have a few responsibilities:

  • Don't configure your AI voice to deny being AI
  • Don't try to disable or work around disclosure messages
  • Check your AI conversations regularly using the dashboard
  • Make sure the content your AI is trained on is accurate and up to date
  • If you take over a conversation from AI, you're responsible for what you say from that point

How we compare to industry standards

Our disclosure approach is modeled after the practices of leading customer communication platforms:
