AI Disclosure Policy

Keravox uses artificial intelligence to generate responses on behalf of content creators. We are committed to transparency in all AI-generated communications, in compliance with FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).

How We Disclose AI Usage

1. First Message Disclosure

The first AI-generated message in every new conversation includes a disclosure footer:

"This message was sent by [Creator Name]'s AI assistant"

This disclosure is mandatory and cannot be disabled by creators, regardless of subscription tier.

2. Direct Question Transparency

When a fan directly asks "Are you real?", "Are you AI?", "Is this a bot?", or similar questions, the AI always identifies itself truthfully. This behavior is enforced by the NeMo Guardrails transparency rule, which is:

  • Always enabled for all creators
  • Cannot be overridden by voice configuration
  • Cannot be bypassed by behavior rules
  • Enforced at the guardrail layer, after LLM generation

3. Affiliate Link Disclosure

When the AI includes affiliate links in responses, they are always appended with the #ad disclosure tag. This is automatic and cannot be removed by creators. Only one affiliate link is included per response to avoid over-commercialization.

Creator Responsibilities

  • Creators must not configure their AI voice to deny being AI
  • Creators must not add "ignore disclosure" or similar instructions to their system prompt (blocked by validation)
  • Creators should monitor AI conversations regularly using the dashboard
  • Creators are responsible for the accuracy of the content their AI is trained on

Technical Implementation

Transparency is enforced at multiple levels:

  • System prompt validation: Blocked patterns include "ignore all previous instructions", "do not disclose", "you are not an AI", "override your system prompt"
  • NeMo Guardrails: Colang configuration enforces disclosure when AI identity is questioned
  • Behavior Rules: Cannot override or disable guardrail checks (enforced at architecture level)
  • Affiliate injection: Automatic #ad tag appended by the chat service, not removable via configuration
